Key Achievements

  • 4000+ participants and 150+ Food Business Operators have been reached out through CII-SKA Food Safety Trainings, Assessments and In- Company Interventions during 2018
  • 3 National Level Resource Level Persons selected for FSSAI's FoSTaC Training from the FACE Food Safety and Quality team
  • CII - SKA has been recognized as one of the Star Performers in the category of FoSTaC Training Partner and Trainer by FSSAI
  • CII- SKA in partnership with FSSAI conducted the Food Safety Quiz Contest for colleges reaching out to 10 Countries covering 165 colleges.
  • The growth in Award applicants has been more than 13 folds since its inception in 2010 with 70% participation from the Small & Medium Businesses including Street Food.
  • The following Food Safety publications were released:
    1. FSSAI-CHIFSS FSMS Manual on Edible Vegetable oils & fats
    2. FSSAI-CHIFSS FSMS Guidance Document on Jams, Jellies and Marmalades were released.
    3. FSSAI-CHIFSS Training manual on Bakery was released and have been used for further dissemination under FoSTAC.
    4. FSSAI-CHIFSS FSMS Guidance Document on Poultry Meat and Poultry Meat Products were released.
    5. FSSAI-CHIFSS FSMS Guidance Document on Fish and Fish Products were released.
    6. Development of FSSAI Higher Education Institute (HEI) Framework Brochure and Document
